There’s a few (not only Sky) pundits trying to build it up as fight of the night, etc, over here.
I don’t see it being all that competitive myself but we shall see.
I’m guessing fight of the night is either Macca or the heavyweights. Konecny-Hall could be a sleeper.

DeGale-Dilks R1

DeGale starts orthodox, but goes back to southpaw quickly. Dilks with a right hand. DeGale shooting the jab. Dilks definitely has no fear of standing there with him. DeGale strays a bit low, but nothing major. Right hook by DeGale, and now he’s backing Dilks down. Good body shot by DeGale. DeGale is so much quicker of hand and foot than Dilks. It’s not even close. Dilks is a solid domestic fighter but he’s pretty vastly outclassed in terms of pure talent. Dilks staggered, being unloaded upon, and the referee stops the fight!
James DeGale TKO-1

Yeah. Every scheduled televised fight is set for 12, except the first fight, which was set for 10. Potentially 82 rounds of boxing were scheduled for TV. Of course you can knock off nine of those already.

Hall
seems like he’s had a hard career already,and he’s only 26!
Been fighting since ’02.Not that long really.
Cos of his style i suppose.
Konecny-Hall R1

These guys could be fraternal twins. And they’re not going to move around a lot, either. Both have landed good shots early, Hall getting the better of the first minute. If these guys don’t clash heads at some point I’ll be shocked. Konecny landing good body shots, Hall comes back with a right to the ribs. This is already looking like a damn good fight. Both digging hard to the body, staying low and no lulls in action. This is gonna be good.
Konecny 10-9, but very, very little between them

Konecny-Hall R2

Konecny is starting to really land the cleaner blows, as Hall’s defense is just that little bit more lax than he’d probably prefer. Konecny is one of those fun guys who even when backing up is being aggressive. Hall gets a right in, and he’s got that shot past the glove a couple times. Hall coming back hard toward the end of the round, but it’s not quite enough. This is going to turn into a war of attrition.
Konecny 10-9
Konecny 20-18

BBC 1+2,ITV 1,CH4 and CH5 are free.
Then there’s Freeview which adds ITV2 and about twenty other channels. You just need a £20 box for that.
The rest you have to pay for through satellite(Sky) or cable.
Sky Box Office is obviously PPV,but pretty cheap all the same.
yeah you guys pay about $20 American for PPV, right?
$49.95 for Mosley-Mora in HD tonight. Hot dog!

Yea,i forgot to mention you have to pay £150 or so for a BBC license just to watch the f**ing box,as Phil mentioned.
And i agree the BBC and most of the free channels are, unsuprisingly a big, steaming pile of horse shit.

Konecny-Hall R3

Fuck off, storm, this is a good fight.
Konecny with two left uppercuts as their heads are pressed together. Body shots from Lukas now. Hall staying with him, but he’s a step behind. Hall getting it together now in the middle of the round. Hall digs in a great little body shot. Konecny starts firing back hard, Hall throws back himself. This is just a lot of fun. These guys are going to feel this fight in the morning. Hall goes a hair low. Another tough, tough round.
Hall 10-9
Konecny 29-28
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Konecny-Hall R4

Konecny really starting to let loose, and landing some very hard shots upstairs. He’s already done some weakening of the body, and now he goes back down there. Konecny has gotten a good amount of uppercuts in, and now a chopping right is his best-looking weapon. Konecny again goes back to the body. He’s really picking up the pace, and he was already cutting a great pace. Really big round for Konecny.
Konecny 10-9
Konecny 39-37

"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Konecny-Hall R5

Hall just isn’t finding Konecny enough with his offense, and Konecny has gone a bit more economical this round. Now he opens up and backs Hall down. Konecny closing the round very strong. Hall is starting to wilt in a big way the last two rounds.
Konecny 10-9
Konecny 49-46
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Konecny-Hall R6

Konecny starting to bounce a bit on his flurries, landing and moving. Hall is right there to get hit. Left hand stings Hall! Uppercut from Konecny, flurrying, and DOWN GOES MATTHEW HALL! Too much. He’s hurt badly. BIG LEFT HOOK HALL, BUT THEN RIGHT HAND BY KONECNY, AND THIS FIGHT IS OVER!

Cleverly-Murat R1

Cleverly coming out throwing, and Murat comes out with his gloves up really high. Cleverly digging to the body, looking to shoot an uppercut through the guard. Murat misses a left hook. Uppercuts from Cleverly, left hook shakes Murat a bit! Murat opening up a bit more, but that doesn’t seem to be his best idea, either. Uppercut from Cleverly again. Murat’s head movement would have Ricky Hatton screaming at him, for God’s sake.
Cleverly 10-9
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Murat doesn't move his head ever
He tries to fight like Arthur Abraham. The turtle shell is his defense, it’s just not as tight as Abraham’s, and he doesn’t have the one punch power to keep people from punching around it.

Cleverly-Murat R2

Cleverly with two good body shots in quick succession, right and left hands. It’s a fun fight when Murat throws back, otherwise it looks like Cleverly is a class higher than him. Uppercut rocks Murat’s head back again. Body shot by Cleverly. This looks too much like DeGale-Dilks did, really. That uppercut is there all day. Cleverly is backing him down, throwing a lot of punches, breaking the defense, and not getting hit with much clean and hard. Another big round for Cleverly.
Cleverly 10-9
Cleverly 20-18
Cleverly could go at 80% this speed and still dominate right now.

Cleverly-Murat R3

Murat drops his left hand for a split second and Cleverly pops him with a right hand. Cleverly with a good flurry, including a terrific right hand to the body. Cleverly with more body work, and as soon as Murat’s guard comes down even the tiniest bit, he’s right on him to the head, too. Murat starts throwing finally, which is nice. I mean it’s keep getting beaten up all night or try to fight back. Murat finishes the round nicely — well, at least until Cleverly starts winging.
Cleverly 10-9
Cleverly 30-27
I like Cleverly a ton, but if Murat throws punches back and catches an overconfident Cleverly, this could turn. I think Nathan might have just learned that, though.

Probably because he’s not used to this kind of pressure, and there wasn’t much in Cleverly’s past fights to indicate he’d bring this kind of pressure.

Cleverly-Murat R4

I will say that I hope Cleverly’s conditioning is as good as he apparently thinks it is, because this might last a bit longer than he’s expecting. Cleverly having another active round, though. Left hooks from Murat clip Cleverly at the end of the round. Now they get really chippy — and YEP! Murat trains with Abraham alright, because he oversells a little cheapshot to the ear.

Murat starting to land clean shots. Cleverly might be really gassing. This fight has been good already and might be becoming more than that. Now here comes Cleverly, but did he need it? Brick’s right, and others have said it before — Cleverly needs to learn to use his reach and height. He should absolutely not be trying to brawl inside with a guy who’s 5’10".
Murat’s mouth piece comes out and Frank Warren takes the moment to scream at Cleverly from ringside.
Both guys are landing. This is getting very, very good. Murat turning up the pressure. Big right and a left hook from Murat! Cleverly firing back! Whooo WEEE!!! This is getting terrific. Both guys going to war! Cleverly is definitely tiring.

Cleverly going back to the body, and Murat staggers a bit, but he’s not hurt. Think he just stepped over his own foot. Cleverly pressuring big! Cleverly holds and hits, and Adam Smith can’t figure out why the referee would stop that. Cleverly still just firing away. Murat throwing left hooks, but not shaking Cleverly. Both guys are taking good shots in this fight.
Hard left hook from Cleverly, but Murat, despite his head bobbing around, just keeps throwing back there. Right hand down the pipe by Murat, but Cleverly still getting the better of him in the final minute of the round. Cleverly has turned the tide back his way with this round. Cleverly slapping away, Murat chops him with a couple rights.

Pace slowing just a hair, and I really mean just a hair. Both guys are tiring, and Cleverly seems to have more gusto overall. Cleverly with good rights, and a left hook. Murat backed down, but then he lands a good body shot that Cleverly definitely felt. Left hand from Murat. Murat digging to the body and man, I think he took this round at the end. Cleverly didn’t dominate early, and Murat got in the best punches near the end.

Murat with right hands, but Cleverly goes back to the body and then upstairs. Murat cut on the bridge of his nose. Adam Smith reads way too much into it, as he tends to do. Murat with a left, Cleverly throwing wild shots. Now Murat shoves Cleverly. Yeah, he’s an Arthur Abraham associate.
Cleverly charges, Murat ties him up, and Murat starts landing in return. Cleverly with a right hand, then a big shot shakes Murat! But Murat staying up! Cleverly goes to the body on a hurt Murat.

BIG right by Cleverly! He’s starting this round actually staying outside and looking to measure his shots, it appears. Uppercut lands. Sneaky uppercut gets in once again, but not heavy. Right hand Cleverly. Murat being neutralized now, cocking his right hand and trying to catch Cleverly coming in. Cleverly pressuring once again, and Murat’s mouth piece “comes out.” He spat that out. There’s no doubt in my mind.
Body shot Murat, but Cleverly pops him with a left hook.

Brook-Jennings R3

“Red trunks, remember, Kell Brook,” says Ian Darke. That really calls for one of Teddy Atlas’ all-time great lines: “He’s also the black guy.”
This is a combination of the last two fights spoiling me, the fact that Brook isn’t being particularly aggressive, and Jennings just not doing much of note. Jennings throws a couple jabs and Jim Watt has to make pointed note of it. Jennings is doing a bit defensively, I guess. Brook goes southpaw and it doesn’t last long.

Right hand by Jennings. Brook is too tentative in there for my tastes, and he’s letting Jennings build some confidence. If it makes for a better fight, then great. Left to the body by Brook. Jennings continues to do well this round, or Brook is doing quite poorly the last two frames. One or the other. Watt doesn’t think Jennings is doing enough to win the rounds. Chisora starting to use the jab early in this round, and staying very active. Now Sexton storming back with ripping body shots. Chisora smiles as he backs down. Chisora goes back to the body. Sexton is absorbing a lot of shots and firing back enough, but he’s clearly losing the fight at this point IMO.

Sexton starts the round strong. He’s definitely relaxed in there and has been the whole fight. Sexton shooting good hooks to the body. Chisora whacking away at him upstairs, and he goes to the body. Now Sexton starts coming back. They’re trading in bursts if not going toe-to-toe with great fury.

Darke and Watt really are overstating how good this fight has been. I mean it’s been fine, but Jesus. It’s the third-best fight so far today.
Sexton has started to really come back into this fight simply by waiting on Chisora to tire, which it would appear was his plan in the early rounds. Sexton leaning on Chisora to further take his legs away, and Chisora looks the worse for wear between the two. Sexton using hte jab, Chisora still looking for big, flashy stuff, and not landing it quite as much as he did earlier. Sexton pushed him around some this round.

Sexton’s offense has all but disappeared. About six people try to start a “There’s only one Sammy Sexton” chant, which goes about as well as one might expect. Ian Darke simply massacred Alexander Kotolbay’s name just now. “Kottly-boy.”
Maccarinelli still tentative in the first half of this round, but now he throws some incredibly wild shots and misses. Left hook by Macca pushes Frenkel back. The jab starting to show up for Maccarinelli. Right hand by Frenkel. Right hand by Maccarinelli.

Frenkel backs him down with two lefts. Macca comes back with a right and a left to the body. Macca shoots another left to the body. Both are firing big shots. Maccarinelli still wild to the head, but hitting fairly well to the body. Maccarinelli looking like the stalker now. He’s almost leaving his feet occasionally when he throws. Right hand to the head grazes, another left to the body by Enzo. Right hand by Enzo. He’s starting to find a rhythm now, and Frenkel isn’t doing much at all now.

Maccarinelli-Frenkel R4

Frenkel seems really concerned with Maccarinelli’s power, but at least he’s throwing now. Macca is quiet, and just charges in, missing shots. This is an awkward round and would have been tough to score until Maccarinelli hurts Frenkel late with a good shot. That might have stolen the round alone.

Maccarinelli cut near his right eye. Referee doesn’t hurry him over to the corner and stop the fight, though. Enzo with an uppercut while Frenkel is pressed against the ropes.
