The Bad Left Hook Pick'em Game: Season 5, Week 1

It's time for another 10 week season of pick'em action.

If you're a veteran of the game from The Boxing Bulletin, you'll know how to play.  For those that are new to the game, please make sure to check out the rules (we promise they are very simple).

An explanation of how to fill out your selections appears at the bottom of this post - please follow these instructions as it makes it easier for us to tabulate the results quickly each week.

One new wrinkle added this season will be the crowning of an overall winner at the end of 2011.  At the end of each 10 week season, the top 20 players will receive player of the year points, 15 for 1st, 13 for 2nd, 11 for 3rd, 10 for 4th, 9 for 5th, 8 for 6th, 7 for 7th, 6 for 8th, 5 for 9th, 4 for 10th, 3 for 11th-12th, 2 for 13-15th and 1 for 16th-20th .  These point totals will be added together to determine the Pick'em Player of the Year.

Let’s get to the week 1 line-up…

Star-divide

in case anyone's wondering

I don’t really think Licina beats Cunningham, but the odds are great and Cunningham is 34 and doesn’t fight enough.

Such were the days, still, hot, heavy, disappearing one by one into the past, as if falling into an abyss for ever open in the wake of the ship; and the ship, lonely under a wisp of smoke, held on her steadwast way black and smouldering in a luminous immensity, as if scorched by a flame flicked at her from a heaven without pity.

Just saw Scott's post above. Disregard question.

Shame I couldn’t risk some to win some more on Karl by dodgy points decision in France…. ;)
