Jean Pascal-Bernard Hopkins Rematch Bumps Chad Dawson's? (FanHouse)

HBO Picks The Wrong Fighter To Take The Right Stance (BoxingScene.com)
Jake Donovan says that Sergio Martinez is likely to face Sergiy Dzinziruk, with March 12 being the date looked at. That would go against Top Rank's proposed Miguel Cotto-Ricardo Mayorga fight, which presumably will be on Top Rank PPV. He argues that Martinez got the hard-line stance from HBO (they turned down Sebastian Zbik and Andy Lee as Martinez opponents, after initially approving the latter). The date would give boxing fans a decision to make, as Martinez-Dzinziruk is a good fight to be sure, but Cotto-Mayorga is likely to have more fireworks and Top Rank really does usually deliver with their smaller PPV cards. Of course, dates could be changed.
