Herman Cain's Campaign Promises with Mike Tyson (Video)
Well, this happened. Honestly I don't think it's particularly funny, but it's got some Dr. Steve Brule feel at moments and it's just so weird to see Mike Tyson doing...political humor.
Language NSFW and do not turn this into a political debate in any way.
It's got a big vote of approval on Funny or Die's site, but eh, people who vote there think lots of things are funny. It's more just interesting to see Mike doing stuff like this at all. Five years ago, this would have seemed ridiculously stunning.
Of course that also probably means that the time for this to continue being "funny" or "surprising" is running a little thin, since there are only so many times you can go to the well. My personal belief is it's running short as is (or has already "jumped the shark" if you will, which I'd rather you didn't, and which I wish I hadn't just said), but, well, people like this crap.

I like Tyson’s second career (whatever that may be)… At least he’s not tormented and unhappy like he used to be. It’s not as lucrative as selling grills but it’s still a lliving I guess.
He seems happy. Not able just to laugh, but to laugh at himself, too. That’s huge.

It really is huge, and personally I think the vid’s quite funny. He’s definitely capable of funny imo.

I liked it too. I actually like it a lot more than the one where he’s dancing… that one wasn’t very funny IMO. It was funny seeing him dancing like a fool, but the vid itself was not that funny. This is cool, sorta like the one where he is the tutor in “The President’s Speech”
Bob Arum would promote Lucifer himself if he could put asses in the seats.
He was real funny in the second Hangover movie at the end singing One Night in Bangkok. It’s good too see him having a laugh.

If he keeps on going like he’s been going, he’ll be in position to sell some panini presses soon enough.
+1. I think that this video was another feeler into some different facet of himself, and he did it pretty well, with lots of humor. I also got the impression that he knew what the whole thing was about.
Imagine Tyson and Foreman together, selling something, anything, in an infomercial. With both their past reputations, and reinvented geniality and humor, I can envision all sorts of hilarious and lucrative ventures..
