Pacquiao vs Marquez: Mike Tyson to Toll the Tribute Bells for Joe Frazier
Dan Rafael reports via Twitter that former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will ring the bell for tonight's ten-bell salute to another former world heavyweight champion, the late Smokin' Joe Frazier.
Frazier passed away on Monday after a battle with liver cancer, at the age of 67. His death was major international news, and not just in the sports world. Frazier's 1970s trilogy with Muhammad Ali is considered one of the great rivalries in all of sports history, and had a cultural impact that we're unlikely to ever see again in the boxing world.
The Pacquiao vs Marquez card is the first really major boxing event to take place in the United States since Frazier's passing. HBO will also tribute Frazier during the pay-per-view tonight, and you can also watch their Thrilla in Manila documentary today and through November 27 with HBO on Demand. For those who haven't seen it, it's a recommended viewing.

I hope that they can put like a 1 to 2 min highlight package of his fights somewhere in the PPV.
"Boxing is dirty," said Casamayor. " The day I’m not ready to be a dirty fighter is the day I don’t fight anymore because it will mean that I have no heart for it anymore."
I’m okay with them doing a 45 minute highlight package and skipping Bradley/Casamayor

Little known fact among casual fans is Mike Tyson has some serious knowledge of boxing history. He’s definitely a good choice for this.
Mike Tyson could talk to you about Jack Johnson to Wald … Honestly, if his speaking was a bit better I am sure that HBO or Showtime would love to have him doing color instead of some of the other guys they have had on like Foreman or Lewis.
"Boxing is dirty," said Casamayor. " The day I’m not ready to be a dirty fighter is the day I don’t fight anymore because it will mean that I have no heart for it anymore."
He had this really surprising articulateness in his younger days that really seemed like an incongruity, given his later habit of walking around as a seething ball of white-hot hate.
I just saw him on HBO talking about the Pacman/Marquez fight and you can see him getting goofy over the thought of the fight. Said Marquez won the 2nd fight and wants to see how Pacman handles him compared to Mayweather 147
