In case you somehow haven't seen the fight yet and are dying for some highlights, here's a quick recap of each of the four fights from Saturday night, courtesy Yahoo! Sports and HBO Sports.
Pacquiao vs Marquez
Pacquiao won a majority decision (116-112, 115-113, 114-114) which has been debated and debated and debated for two days solid, and will likely be debated forever. Marquez took a lot of the cards from those in the media, and from many fans, and it was a terrific tactical style clash once again. The replay of the full fight will air on HBO this Saturday night.
Alvarado vs Prescott
This was the Fight of the Night, in my opinion, an action-packed, bloody, dramatic comeback stoppage win for Mike Alvarado, who had been busted up badly and outboxed in the early going by Breidis Prescott. Without the HBO commentary, you really get a better sense for just how hard these two were going at it, and the thudding of Alvarado's shots is nasty.
Burgos vs Cruz
As I expected, this turned out to be a good, largely even matchup, with Burgos proving to be the better and more advanced fighter over 10 rounds. Of the four fights on the show, this was the third-best, and was pretty damn good.
Bradley vs Casamayor
Also, this fight happened. It is best viewed over 32 seconds. See the other fights, pass on this one, if you haven't yet seen the card.
