I didn’t know this was legal either. I remember some commission going ape shit on Fernando Vargas for asking if he could drink Gatorade instead of water for one of his fights. Mind you this was after his fight w/ DLH, so I can see why this particula commission was so strict on "Fat"nando. Not only does Gatorade, or Pedialyte, help in re-hydration, but I have heard before that the color of the sports drink can actually aid in concealing PEDs, something like that. Which to doesn’t make sense to me considering most water bottles cornermen use aren’t transparent anyways. But hey, what do I know.
