Larry Olubamiwo has pulled out of his scheduled Saturday fight with Dereck Chisora due to illness, leaving the former British heavyweight champion without an opponent just days before the big card at Wembley Arena, headlined by Katsidis vs Burns.
From Olubamiwo's Facebook:
"Hi everyone. Have to tell you that I am really ill and so won't be able to fight on saturday. I am really disappointed as I was looking forward to coming back but wanna thank everyone for their support and will be back as soon as I am better. Anyone who brought tickets from me can get a refund."
While this was a reasonable and polite way to address his being forced out of the fight, Chisora wasn't exactly kind in response. After the jump, his adults-only response.
Here's what Chisora said on Twitter, in the form of a joke:
Well then! That about sums up the feelings of "Del Boy" then, doesn't it?
They never said Chisora was a classy gentleman.
