Fury vs Pajkic: Final Press Conference (Video)

Here's video from the final presser earlier today for the Saturday fight between British and Commonwealth heavyweight champ Tyson Fury and Neven Pajkic. Fury's Commonwealth title will be on the line.

Part 2 after the jump.

Star-divide

Fury (16-0, 11 KO) is a pretty heavy favorite here against 34-year-old Pajkic (16-0, 5 KO), who has been on the Canadian club circuit and is more or less a hand-picked opponent. They've done a decent job stirring up interest in this fight for a while now, but Fury is most likely past this sort of fight, though it's not the worst opponent for him to take at this stage, either. He still has learning to do.

Fury vs Pajkic will air on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom, and SuperChannel in Canada at 4:45 p.m. EST on November 12. For those who would like an appetizer in the afternoon for the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight on Saturday night, Fury does usually make things interesting to watch, even if that comes in the form of hitting himself in the face with an uppercut.

The poor guy will never live that down, the GIF is just everywhere.

I’m looking forward to this fight.

Just think in 20 years time

He could have retired undefeated…. undisputed HW champion… he gets introduced at an award dinner

“And here is Tyson Fury, the man who uppercuts himself”

No wonder he is depressed….

It will certainly live forever in the annals of sports’ most ridiculous moments.

Sorry; got carried away in the excitement of the moment. Sigh, I need a life.

Speaking of which, I just noticed you had a Purdy vs Lynes thread; sorry I missed it. I don’t know if I could have caught the fight anywhere, though. I was in the same situation just a few days ago, but BoxAnne was there to share with me.

No need to apolagize

I was mostly rambling by my self anyway. Good fight, should catch it on youtube when it finds its way there

Good night of boxing again.

Eubank Jr might be on the undercard of this btw.
