Ward vs Froch: Staredown Video From Showtime Sports

This Saturday night in Atlantic City, live on Showtime, the two-year long Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament concludes at Boardwalk Hall, with Andre Ward facing Carl Froch for the WBC, WBA and Ring Magazine titles, as well as the big silver trophy.

Here's the full video of their Showtime Sports "Staredown" segment, in case you've missed it:

So much has changed in the last two years. In that time, Ward and Froch, neither of whom were tournament favorites, have become at worst two of the three best in the world at super middleweight, with Lucian Bute in the running outside of the tournament.

The man who set this tournament up and dealt with all the headaches, Ken Hershman, is gone from Showtime, preparing to officially take over as head of HBO Sports in January 2012. He won't even get to see what was his greatest vision and biggest undertaking come to a close, at least not up close and personal.

We find out the true ruler of the super middleweight division on Saturday night -- at least for now. As always, there are questions waiting after some are answered. This is also the final major boxing show of the year on U.S. TV, and we'll have big coverage all week, leading up to live round-by-round coverage on Saturday night.
