Cotto vs Margarito 2: Live Streaming Weigh-In Video from Madison Square Garden
Today at 5 p.m. EST, the weigh-ins for tomorrow night's event featuring Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito in the main event at Madison Square Garden will be held, and you can watch the live streaming video here at Bad Left Hook, courtesy Yahoo! Sports.
The video will go live when the time comes, and we'll be here with live updates in the comments of this post, and on Twitter during the event. Don't forget that Cotto vs Margarito is a catchweight fight, as Cotto enforced a weight limit of 153 pounds, one pound less than the normal junior middleweight limit of 154, simply to put the screws to Margarito during negotiations for the fight.

Don't forget we're also going to have live coverage at 4:45 of the Felix Sturm vs Martin Murray WBA middleweight title fight from Germany. If you missed it, there's still time to read the full preview for Sturm vs Murray.

Spencer Fearon just tweeted to say Rios-Murray could be off...
"Occasionally, there is a boxing match that, in its demonstration of skill, courage, intelligence, hope, seems to redeem the sport - almost. Perhaps boxing has always been a sport in crisis, a sport of crisis."
Not seeing it anywhere else yet, but we’re on it.

Bloody hope it isn’t – had a feeling all week that Murray could give Rios a real fight…

No rumors all week at all. Nobody else saying anything yet. Only thing I could think possible is one of them is way, way overweight.

on Rios rumor
He’s apparently stuck in traffic with Margarito and LA Times reporter Lance Pugmire. Doesn’t sound like he’s pulling out of fight.

Brandon Rios weighs in at 136.4. He weight nude to start.
135.6 on a second try.
Rios looks really gaunt and obviously is overweight.

Murray just became a really live dog. I can’t overstate this: Rios looks BAD. If you didn’t see it, I probably can’t put it into words. He looks tired, discouraged, and dried out as all hell.

Margarito
looks like some kind of Che Guevara/Carlito Brigante hybrid to me, with the long hair, goatee beard and shades.
Both look in really good shape to me. Margarito is lean.

Too lean to me
But loked happy to be in shape

I’m certain Margo will. He really has to drain himself to get down.
Margo will be the considerably bigger man on the night, i’m sure.
i just didn’t know by how much.
He is small
I thought 147 is the highest he should go but he left it after he lost to Pacquiao.

trying to catch up...
what’s happening with rios? are they making him shed the .6? are they gonna throw a few bucks Murray’s way?
He has to shed the weight. Since it’s a title fight, NYSAC is gonna hold firm on the weight. And if he doesn’t make weight, he loses his title, period.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
thanks – do we know how much time he has to shed the weight? not to be Captain Obvious, but man, i’d hate to feel like Rios right now.
one hour
