It's fight day for Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. Three years of doubts, animosity, and a growing hated between the two fighters, not to mention the Puerto Rico vs Mexico rivalry coming back to Madison Square Garden, live on HBO pay-per-view.
This is it. And the oddsmakers like Miguel Cotto to get some measure of revenge for his 2008 beatdown at the questionable hands of Antonio Margarito.

Cotto (36-2, 29 KO) may simply be considered the less shot of these two fighters. Margarito (38-7, 27 KO) is without question the man who has taken more punishment over his career. Another question is whether or not that evens out in another way -- if Margarito is simply far superior at taking punishment.
There's a bad eye in play, which Cotto says he'll target. And there are concerns that Cotto simply has not gotten over the 2008 loss, physically or mentally. Both fighters seem to believe they're in the other man's head. The storylines and narratives are over. It's time to fight.
