Ward vs Froch: Fight Camp 360 Episode 10, Plus Episode 11 Preview (Video)

For those who may have missed it, here's the full tenth episode of Showtime's Fight Camp 360 series dedicated to the two-year long Super Six World Boxing Classic, which comes to a close on December 17 in Atlantic City, as WBA super middleweight titlist Andre Ward unifies with WBC titleholder Carl Froch, and we crown a new legitimate champion in the 168-pound division, with the vacant Ring Magazine championship also on the line.

Fight Camp 360 has been pretty great overall, and just different enough than the glitzier, more "Hollywood" 24/7 on HBO that both have their own strengths and weaknesses and don't just feel like carbon copies most of the time. To me, Froch has been the guy to watch on the series, outside of squirrely Andre Dirrell that one time, but that's for a different reason entirely.

The real star, obviously, is Rachael Cordingley. In fact, I say she's the true breakout star of the Super Six.

After the jump, a preview for episode 11, which premieres on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST.

I like 24/7, it’s a good way to hype a fight. But I prefer these 360 episodes because they do before and after fight and it seems a lot more intimate. I loved those shots from Abraham’s corner being all frustrated by Abraham retreating into his shell.

After Margarito, hating another boxer just seems silly… so much time spent hating Carl Froch and now I feel foolish. I still want Ward to win though.

Margo was just a big dumb animal trying as hard as he could to play the villain. By contrast, Froch becomes antagonistic almost instinctually. There is a part of the episode where Froch doesn’t remember shit-talking Glen Johnson. Literally looking at the quote of something he said and thinks aloud “Did I say that?” as if he is somewhat surprised by himself. Its like the bright lights go on and his body activates “bell end” mode.

Yeah, I noticed that too. That was pretty funny.

Marg/Cotto 24/7 was epic, but most feel like an infomercial. Fight camp 360 seems more real…………….has more behind the scenes details/drama.

the fact that 360 does before during and after the fight

makes it a little better than 24/7 to me. those locker rooms after the fight are always riveting
