Off-Topic: Money Match TV Live streaming
As some of you know on this site, I play pool to a pretty high level. I've stuck up some clips on here before, but this time I get to allow people to watch a match live if they so choose.
Money Match TV is a series of pool events promoted by Andy Appleton, and streamed live by CuesportTV from the Vegas Sports Bar in Wakefield. I was invited to come and play a money match on the card (which is set up a little like a boxing card, now I think about it) against one of the retained players from the last event.I don't usually play American pool, but I accepted anyway.
Anyhow, the schedule is in the middle of this page:
Pro9 Forum- Confirmed MMTV Schedule
And the match streaming will be at:
There is about £2400 being staked on this match as of now, but this might go higher when I reach the venue.
Anyhow, wish me luck, and I hope you can tune in (it's free!!). Also, please note that the times listed are British time (GMT), so you'll have to adjust by about 5 hours if you're in the United States.

Mate, well done on a classy interview after (even though I had to strain to hear a bit!) I only saw from 15-10 onwards :( It seems a pretty tough game, especially when the other guy gets on a run.
I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘’Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'’ (Bernard Hopkins)
I was 14-5 down, and I've never played so bad in my life.
I was genuinely shell-shocked at how many balls I missed, because I simply never miss like that. That is the single worst match I’ve ever played, and had I been at even 75% I think I’d have run him very close indeed…. that was more like a 25% performance, and I have no reason, no excuse, no real justification, other than I just didn’t turn up on the day.
From 14-5 I gritted my teeth and found a foothold in the match, but then we had to stop while other interviews and suchlike went on and my momentum was stopped…. he played amazing from 15-10, but had I punished him earlier in the match (I think I missed about 10 really, REALLY easy chances) then he’d have never had the chance to do what he did in those last 6….
I’ll watch the match back once on video (I must be a masochist….) and then I’ll discard it. That simply was not me in there.
In 2008 Lewis commented on a possible match up with Riddick Bowe. "He waits until I am in retirement to call out my name," said Lewis. "I will come out of retirement to beat up that guy. I'll beat him up for free."
That seemed like a great showing to me against a champion, in a game variety you generally don’t play especially. Good interview too. Was fun to see. thanks for the link.

Thanks for watching.
As embarrassing as it is now. :)
