question about weigh class

i have heard people say that some fighters, like donaire and paul williams, should move up in weight because they are too big or tall for their current weight class. like it's an unfair advantage.

i don't get this. shouldn't a fighter fight at the lowest possible weight class that he can comfortably fight at? (not counting if he's looking for a big payday fight at a different weight)

maybe it's mostly trolls saying this, but i feel like i've read journalists saying this before as well, esp. about paul williams. what you your thoughts?
