Starting in just a few moments, ESPN.com will be streaming the weigh-in for tomorrow night's HBO PPV, titled "Action Heroes," and headlined by Marcos Maidan v. Erik Morales, plus a nice co-feature of Robert Guerrero v. Michael Katsidis. Also on the card will be Paulie Malignaggi v. Jose Miguel Cotto, James Kirkland v. Nobuhiro Ishida and Danny Garcia v. Nate Campbell (off-TV).
Make sure you check out our just recently posted full preview of the card, and don't forget we'll be here tomorrow evening starting at 9pm EDT for full coverage of the event.
Updates for the weigh-in will come in the comments, and you're welcome to weigh in yourself (HA!!!!) with some discussion. We'll also have a quick post after.
The stream broadcast is starting with shots of the fighters arriving at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Morales is walking in to the mariachi band for his first fight in Las Vegas since November 18, 2006. Stay tuned for more updates!

aw man
I was hoping to hear more from the boxing media, paid off and pretending this is something it isn’t. I love those. Like last year when one of them on the preview show told me that Mosley-Mora was a MUST-SEE EVENT.

I really don’t understand being a grown man and asking for an autograph. But then I’ve never understood asking for autographs. Or people who pay for them.

I mean, if you happened to catch an awesome baseball at a game, like the single season home run record ball, I could see wanting to have it signed. Otherwise, I’m with you.

Yeah I’d do that. I’d catch the ball, have it signed, then sell it to some rich guy who wants to donate it to the Hall of Fame.

I feel like Maidana should arrive on a horse, not in a limo.

Either a horse or a dragon.

WTF is he talking about? Erik Morales returning after a three-year absence? He fought in December and it’s been five years since he’s been in Vegas.
this guy is going to have a heart attack.

sorry, I wasn't paying attention
Was rehearsing my spiel to my wife as to why I will spend 50 of our hard earned dollars on this. Exclaiming “WAR MAIDANA” unlikely to be as effective an explanation as it would be here.

I made amends by having friends down from Michigan. The fellas can get drunk and watch some fights, and since it’s supposed to be nice out the girls can set on the balcony and gab. That sounds stereotyped but…well.

You know, the PPV is “starting” at 8pm EDT tomorrow with the pre-show, so i’m really hoping they put Garcia-Campbell on.

Well, during this break in the "action"
You’ve probably always wondered who Maidana’s favorite action hero was, right?
Marcos Maidana: “I like Argentinean national comic book hero Patoruzu. He possessed super human physical strength and was also very generous.”
Robert Guerrero: “Jesus Christ is my super hero because he has faith, patience and determination.”
Is it bad the latter makes me kinda want Guerrero to lose? What a cheesy answer.

I feel like i’m looking at an old underwear model standing by the new kid and finding himself a little jealous of him and wishing he didn’t have to wear a sweater in public. In Vegas.
