Bad Left Hook Radio for May 18, 2011: Pacquiao vs Marquez III and Five Fight Previews feat. Pascal vs Hopkins II
This week on Bad Left Hook Radio we feature five -- five! -- fight previews, with the big daddy being the rematch between Jean Pascal and Bernard Hopkins for the world light heavyweight championship. We also take looks at Juergen Braehmer vs Nathan Cleverly, James DeGale vs George Groves, Chad Dawson vs Adrian Diaconu and Roy Jones Jr's trip to Moscow to face Denis Lebedev.
Also featured: Plenty of early talk about the November 12 fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, plus the inadequate drug testing system that plagues boxing around the world, reader emails, and more. Well not much more. That pretty much covers it, actually.
I'd also apologize for the window rattles that are pretty audible at times, but you know, low-tech podcast. At least the train wasn't picked up. It's a glamorous world, self-produced radio.

Sounds HUGELY suspicious
"Occasionally, there is a boxing match that, in its demonstration of skill, courage, intelligence, hope, seems to redeem the sport - almost. Perhaps boxing has always been a sport in crisis, a sport of crisis."

I remember you said that you wrote to Sky 2 complain about something?
How do you do that? Go on the website or write an actual letter?
If you let us know that would be great cheers

It’s somewhere on the Sky website. Might have been through the contact us link. I can’t actually remember, because the website layout has changed in the past 4 months or so, so when I just looked to retrace my steps I have no idea! I did it through the website though, that’s for sure.

Did you have to create a log in or something to email them?

As long as you’ve got a TV account it should be okay. I mean, if you (or someone in your house) is paying the fee, then you’ve got the right to complain, I think. I have a login, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

Excellent
Gotta peep it when I get back from my lunch break.
Also, I haven’t heard how you felt about it but I think I’m the only one thats satisfied with a Marquez/Pacqiuao fight.
They made a video game about Yakuzas. It’s called Yakuza. And it’s about Yakuza

Another great episode, Scott.
I, for one, am greatly looking forward to Roy Jones, Jr. week month.

Loving some of these introductory beats
That’s how I would roll with it!
"That was very funny about the old man basketball skills. One is lucky to escape injury when playing against those crafty, crusty sumbitches. And it’s just demoralizing when they demonstrate yet again how to use the backboard from range." - Charlie Custer

I’m glad someone digs them. I had to dig around the Free Music Archive for good stuff. Actually, another dumpster dive there is due soon. It’s not easy, but there’s some good stuff among all the crap there.

Another great show. Thanks again for answering my question despite the heavy topic of Bernard Hopkins opinion of Donovan McNabb. As I said, it sickens me a lot.
Keep it coming. Have any interviews with fighters on the way? That’d be dope.
