For those who missed it live or haven't yet seen it, here's the video of Denis Lebedev knocking out Roy Jones Jr earlier today in Moscow. I'll warn you: If you're a longtime Roy Jones fan, this is painful.

Having watched it several times now, and I hate to say this, Steve Smoger really deserves the blame here. He absolutely should have gotten in there quicker and stopped at least that last hook from Lebedev from landing. Lebedev was just doing what he knows -- fighting until the referee says stop. It's a split second decision for him. For Smoger, he should (and does) know better than to let a hunched-over, out-of-it Jones take a needless shot.

Hopefully Roy is fine, or at least as fine as he's going to be. He was up and talking after the fight, but he still didn't look great, and really he looked half-asleep for a good chunk of the fight. This really has to be it for Jones. It's getting downright scary.
