Pacquiao vs Mosley Previews: Mauro Ranallo, Steve Kim and Corey Erdman Talk About the Big Fight
We always like to give props to our friends here at Bad Left Hook, so tonight we take a look at some fight previews put together by Corey Erdman of The Score, Mauro Ranallo of The Fight Show, and Max Boxing's Steve Kim for Saturday night's showdown between Manny Pacquiao and "Sugar" Shane Mosley.
First up, video with Mauro and Corey.
And here's an audio preview with Corey and Steve Kim, one of the finest boxing writers and all-around media members in the game today. Steve talks about the differences between a "good fight" (Bradley-Alexander) and a "big fight" (this one), along with previewing Pacquiao vs Mosley.
Oh and since it seems semi-appropriate, don't forget to check out the debut episode of Bad Left Hook Radio, where I offered my own preview of the card among other topics on Wednesday. We'll also have some staff picks for you tomorrow, along with the latest odds on the fight at around Noon EDT on Friday.

Who takes these two seriously?
Mauro always looks like a hot mess as my wife says, and who is this other kid? Camera presence should be a requirement for this type of thing.
"That was very funny about the old man basketball skills. One is lucky to escape injury when playing against those crafty, crusty sumbitches. And it’s just demoralizing when they demonstrate yet again how to use the backboard from range." - Charlie Custer

…what type of thing? An internet video talking about a fighting sport?

Anytime one steps in front of a camera professionalism should be exuded
Even Gus Johnson knew that. Gotta connect with the camera and connect with the audience. Otherwise, radio is an option.

Lol...a little bit, but I understand YouTube features mostly amateurs
I expect a little more out of a guy like Mauro who is a “professional”. This Corey guy looks like he’s just happy to be there.

they both work in radio for The Score
What can you expect from radio people? This video is just on the side, man.
(btw I’m not, like, offended here – Mauro and Corey are both friends of the site but neither strike me as uptight or anything, so I doubt you’re hurting any feelings. I’m certain Mauro has heard worse.)

thanks
It will get better. Also I’m going to avoid doing videos thanks to this thread. I have no desire to exude professionalism.

Nice...
I meant no ill will Scott…I just get frustrated watching Mauro and his act. He always seems to be forcing things with his voice tone etc. I’ve watched quite a few of the mma fights he’s called and he appears to be trying too hard to get people interested. Many of the folks who watch fights with me would rather turn the volume down when he talks.
He’s just hard for me to listen to.

And i would wager Scott that you exude more confidence and professionalism than Mauro!
