The final episode of the Showtime/CBS vehicle Fight Camp 360 to hype the May 7 between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley airs on May 6 at 10pm ET/PT on Showtime. Above is the preview for the episode, as the fighters arrive in Las Vegas and fight week kicks into full gear.
What's the final verdict on this series? I think we can assume that, if tradition holds for fight preview series, this will be the best and most intense of the four episodes. Final episodes are specifically designed to really leave a good taste and make you need to see the fight.
HBO's "24/7" always did this remarkably well, for instance. Take the final episode of last year's Mayweather-Mosley series on HBO. I thought this final montage deal they did was perfect -- perfectly dramatic, perfectly melodramatic, perfectly narrated, perfectly shot, everything. It was just a remarkable finale for the show. Hopefully Fight Camp can give us something close tomorrow night. I think a lot of us, who are ordering the show without much hope for more than one outcome, but because we love boxing, could use a jolt.
