Bad Left Hook Radio for June 1, 2011: Khan vs Judah Signed, Pacquiao Lawsuit Talk, Froch vs Johnson Preview
How-dee! It's Wednesday, so that means it's Bad Left Hook Radio day, and unlike last week, and apart from the fact that I'm still stuck doing this on this ancient iMac against my will, I'm actually fairly happy with this episode! I'd like to thank the academy, as well as boxing actually existing this weekend. Topics? Topics!
- Previews for Carl Froch vs Glen Johnson and Sebastian Zbik vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, as well as quick picks and discussion for Mikey Garcia vs Miguel Beltran Jr, Mikkel Kessler's comeback, Gavin Rees vs Andy Murray, Solo Boxeo Tecate and Friday Night Fights.
- Discussion of the just-signed Amir Khan vs Zab Judah fight, plus the Juan Manuel Marquez vs David Diaz dilemma, Manny Pacquiao dropping his defamation suit against Golden Boy's Oscar de la Hoya and Richard Schaefer, where Chris Arreola fits into the heavyweight landscape right now, Juan Diaz's comeback, and more.
- I think that's about it.

This has nothing to do with BLH radio, but Andre Berto is on twitter accusing Victor Ortiz of being on PED’s for thier fight.

I don’t know that there’s much more that Top Rank can actually do for Bradley. As you noted, they don’t have many people around his weight class. While they can “build him up” as a Pacquiao opponent, that characteristic same thing can probably be applied to anyone in the sport. While Top Rank is obviously bigger than Shaw, I’m not really sure what added resources the company actually brings to the table aside from the lure of a Pacquiao bout. I simply don’t see Bradley ever being turned into a live gate fighter.
excellent show btw
make a bit of a longer speech next time, thank more people..family, the cats etc. Always goes down well, I’ve found :)
