Memorial Service for Genaro Hernandez on Monday, Public Welcome

Genaro Hernandez passed away on June 7 at the age of 45 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Yesterday we remembered his career a little bit, and I talked just a bit about him on this week's podcast, too. MaxBoxing journalist Steve Kim knew Genaro well, and shared this on Twitter:

My coaches (Salvador Casillas,Israel Vazquez, and Martin Castillo) were there and said there were roughly about 1300 people at the service/funeral. Wish I could of gone. RIP Chicanito.
