Tonight's Bad Left Hook is delayed until 11 p.m. EDT, but will be seen on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com all the same.
The main event features Top Rank welterweight prospect "Mighty" Mark Melligen (21-2, 14 KO) taking on tough Argentine veteran Sebastian Lujan (37-5-2, 23 KO). Lujan is a replacement for Freddy Hernandez, and in the minds of many, a significantly tougher challenge than Hernandez would have been. Melligen, 25, is a 5'7" southpaw that Top Rank has pushed fairly hard, but he's a very flawed young fighter, and this might be a bit more than he can chew.
In the co-feature, Cleveland's Mickey Bey Jr (16-0-1, 8 KO) takes on Alejandro Rodriguez (12-3, 6 KO) in an eight-round super featherweight bout. The 28-year-old Bey went to a draw in his last fight against Jose Hernandez in February, and is looking to bounce back against what is, on paper, a pretty easy opponent. Rodriguez, 23, has lost his last two, to Eloy Perez and John Molina.
