Juan Manuel Marquez Fight Card Will Be Streamed Free Online
Saturday night's fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Likar Ramos will be streamed online, free and legally, by Top Rank at toprank.tv. The fight is available to viewers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. In Mexico, the fight will air live on TV Azteca.
The stream will start at 9 p.m. EDT on Saturday. Also featured on the card will be a 108-pound bout between Roman Gonzalez and Omar Salado, and Juan Manuel's brother Rafael getting back in the ring against Eusebio Osejo.
Marquez (52-5-1, 38 KO) is facing the lightly-regarded Ramos (24-3, 18 KO) in a tune-up fight that will lead to his November 12 showdown with longtime rival and former two-time opponent Manny Pacquiao. The two drew in 2004, with Pacquiao taking a razor thin split decision in their 2008 rematch.
Bad Left Hook previewed Marquez vs Ramos this morning, and while there is about a 0.07% worry that he could actually lose to Ramos, the real concerns are things like injury (cuts, notably) or even a bad performance, which wouldn't cancel the Pacquiao fight should Marquez beat Ramos in uninspiring fashion, but could make it much harder for Top Rank to sell.
If Marquez does falter, Philadelphia welterweight Mike Jones is said to be waiting in the wings to face Pacquiao instead.
Bad Left Hook will have live coverage of Marquez vs Ramos on Saturday night. Here's our full lineup for Friday and Saturday (full TV schedule for this weekend):
Friday, 9 p.m. EDT: Pawel Wolak vs Delvin Rodriguez on ESPN Friday Night Fights (ESPN2)
Friday, 11:05 p.m. EDT: Diego Magdaleno vs Alejandro Perez on ShoBox (SHO)
Saturday, 4 p.m. EDT: John Murray vs Kevin Mitchell, Nicky Cook vs Ricky Burns on Sky Sports (UK)
Saturday, 9 p.m. EDT: Juan Manuel Marquez vs Likar Ramos on TopRank.tv / TV Azteca (Mexico)

Great news about the stream
I am in Brazil right now, and I was worried I would be starved of boxing for a while. Now I can at least watch Marquez roll over Ramos, which really is better than nothing.

Good that he’s OK. Btw, somewhere on last weekend’s threads I remarked that Colbob was better than, I believe, Kellerman—this was accidental, messed up on “reply” such that the comment landed wrong—meant Colbob’s better than the Merchant & Lampley show.
