Nicolas Cage's son Weston is training "for UFC" so that he can be a "UFC fighter," but after calling out Kimbo Slice (who is going into pro boxing, sort of), his mental stability is being questioned. By Jared Shaw, no less.
"Mental stability would have had [Weston] think twice about his wishes to fight a street certified, cage tested, and boxing ring ready Kimbo Slice."
Shaw also jabbed, "Kimbo is Nic Cage famous ... and Weston's 15 minutes are up."
Tough talk aside, the rep says Kimbo's happy to fight Weston ... but only in a boxing ring.
Slice is an untested boxer who's fighting in August in Oklahoma against a nobody, but Weston Cage really might be a nutter butter. Here's a terrific video of him being beaten up on a sidewalk while a bunch of winners take pictures and video!
I do enjoy that Shaw got in that "street certified, cage tested" bit here. He never stops hyping. I can't wait to see how he spins the big fight in Oklahoma, especially if Kimbo struggles. Or loses.
