Tonight at 10 p.m. EDT on HBO in the United States and Primetime pay-per-view in the United Kingdom, junior welterweight titleholders Amir Khan and Zab Judah square off in a much talked-about fight from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Khan (25-1, 17 KO) is a clear favorite on the sportsbooks, as well as with our staff, who have a pretty clear 6-for-6 outlook favoring Khan to win the fight without a ton of trouble. Judah (41-6, 28 KO) has had something of a career rebirth in the last year, but serious questions remain about his ability against top-level fighters, particularly because he was taken past the limit last year by Lucas Matthysse, receiving split decision scores that were hotly debated.
This may not wind up being Khan's toughest fight to date, or even his toughest fight post-Breidis Prescott, but it's very likely to be the fight with the most eyes on it, as Judah has maintained polarizing fame despite having struggled for years at this point, dating back to a shocking 2006 loss to Carlos Baldomir that seemingly permanently knocked him down from the upper echelon of the boxing world.
