Following his wide points loss today to Tyson Fury, now-former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora gave credit to his opponent, and said he expects a rematch:
The best fighter won on the night. I dnt want to take anything away from him.. There will be a rematch soon
Chisora (14-1, 9 KO) is still one of the best heavyweights on the UK domestic scene, and may well get an immediate rematch if the money makes sense and there's nothing better for Fury (15-0, 10 KO) to take. There will eventually be an eliminator bout between David Price (11-0, 9 KO) and John McDermott (26-7, 17 KO), but that fight isn't on the docket just yet, and McDermott has already fought Fury twice. The first decision was debated, but Fury scored a TKO-9 win in the rematch in June 2010.
