Video: Wladimir Klitschko's Final Thoughts on David Haye
And I really mean "thoughts":
I can say that this is humorous. I can say that. But if you need words, here's what Klitschko told Gazeta
"The man was checked before by a medical commissioner. He was cleared and ready to fight. If you are in the ring, there are no excuses. It's called sore loser. And I warned David Haye, don't do that [discuss the toe]. If something happened to you, shut the hell up and don't say anything because it's going to hit right back to you. ... I don't really care and nobody else cares."
Klitschko is referencing the post-fight press conference when he almost pleaded with Haye to not harp on the toe injury, and said he was speaking from personal experience that you don't want to make excuses like that. Wladimir's attitude since then has been very, very dismissive. He seems truly annoyed that he ever had to bother with David Haye at all, only for Haye to go out there and lay an egg and then complain about his toe with the whole, "I'm not making any excuses, but look, here's my excuse" spiel that has become so common in boxing. And honestly, it's pretty funny. As for a rematch, I'd give that maybe a 5% chance of happening right now. Klitschko seems to want nothing to do with him again and sounds content to move on to other challengers, even if they aren't going to offer as much money as a Haye rematch still could. It's not like Wladimir is going to walk out of any of his fights poor or anything.

I like Wlad. He may not be the most entertaining fighter, but he’s done what he has had to do and he seems to be a genuinely witty and interesting dude. I would love to be able to understand him in his native language…I can only imagine how eloquent and funny he must be.
Bob Arum would promote Lucifer himself if he could put asses in the seats.
I’m just amazed about how little he looks like he was in a Heavyweight championship fight…That says everything I need to know about what happened, or didn’t happen last weekend.
good point. He looks like he just got back from the spa.
Boxing writer: "Iran, what are you going to do when you retire?"
Iran Barkley: "Rob your house"
Classic addition of insult to injury,
and a degree of eloquence quite literally beyond words.
David needs a new nickname.
How about David “Twinkletoes” Haye?
I’ve never considered myself as a legend – just a simple man with heart.
Ask Frank Trigg first

Ah a MMA pundit..haha good catch.

Funny in so many ways
I think this is a funny video. To me the whole thing is funny and was just a big disappointment. And unlike most people I think Wladmir did just as much ducking and running as Haye and neither guy really went for it or landed any hard clean punches. WK got a wide decision victory because the fight was in his back yard it would have been a split decision 50/50 fight if it had been in the US or UK (and I say that because it was a hard fight to judge just because there was no real action other than Haye falling down every 30 sec). I watched the fight a day later on mute (I was on vacation for 4th of July weekend and did not have HBO). Both guys talked big before the fight and then once the bell rang they turned into sparring partners, that like each other, if WK thinks he did anything but throw and miss a lot jabs he is crazy. Haye had good movement and didn’t get hit but he did not throw or land enough punches to really make a strong case for victory. I give both fighters a C- for effort and execution.
PS- The excuse thing about the toe is totally bogus he lost because he was in Germany and he didn’t throw enough punches. He claims that he would have had more power if his toe was 100% but he didn’t land anything….so it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. Plus his foot speed and movement was great and he made WK miss most of the fight. He should have countered with strong hooks to the body and hope to land head shots in the later rounds. But I guess if you want to see a top heavyweight fight you need to watch the UFC. I would love to see WK vs a top MMA guy. Adjust the rules to only allow take downs for a certain period of time..learn some take down defense then we could see some action…..LMFAO…yeah right.
#heavy weight boxing is crap.
