Weigh-In Photos: Rios vs Antillon On Weight, Cintron Light for Molina Fight
The Friday weigh-in for Saturday night's Showtime event in Carson, Calif., saw all the fighters on weight.
In the main event weigh-in, lightweight titlist Brandon Rios hit the 135-pound limit, while challenger Urbano Antillon came in at 134¾. Rios (27-0-1, 20 KO) is the favorite in the fight against Antillon (28-2, 20 KO), and the two have taken very different stances on a fight that has diehard fans salivating at the potential for knock-down, drag-out action.
The junior middleweight co-feature is a 10-round fight between Kermit Cintron (32-3-1, 28 KO) and Carlos Molina (18-4-2, 6 KO). Don't be fooled by Molina's record -- his losses were mostly very close, and he's been on a great win streak dating back to 2008.
Weights for that fight saw Cintron light at 149¼, with Molina at 151¾. Cintron weighing in so light is likely a sign that he's heading back to welterweight, but even still there could be some worry that he overtrained.
