Here's the official fight poster from Poland for the September 10 WBC heavyweight title bout between Vitali Klitschko and Tomasz Adamek:
Klitschko is currently about a -600 favorite for the bout, with Adamek a +400 underdog. I think those are actually generous odds toward Adamek, as I believe Klitschko should realistically be a heavier favorite than that. Nothing in Adamek's heavyweight career truly suggests he's any more prepared for Vitali than the previous pretenders have been, and he's mostly as highly-regarded as he is simply because people like him, I think. He had some obvious moments of doubt when he fought Michael Grant, and to say that Michael Grant isn't Vitali Klitschko would be pretty nice to Grant. Adamek's preparation has been Grant and Kevin McBride. Yes, they're tall. That's it. Neither of them are within five classes of Vitali Klitschko.
The fight will air on HBO in the United States, I'm assuming live in the afternoon and then replayed later alongside the Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Daniel Ponce de Leon fight.
