Victor Ortiz and Oscar De La Hoya on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight: Live Discussion

Piers Morgan Tonight features Victor Ortiz and promoter Oscar De La Hoya tonight at 9 p.m. EDT on CNN.

Tonight at 9 p.m. EDT on CNN, "Piers Morgan Tonight" will feature Victor Ortiz and promoter Oscar De La Hoya for an interview ahead of Ortiz's September 17 fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr on HBO pay-per-view. CNN has become a partner in promoting the fight, as the network is airing replays of the "Mayweather vs Ortiz: 24/7" series. What impact this will all have is debatable, as the CNN demographics are not what's really missing in boxing fans, but any promotion outside of the boxing bubble can't hurt.

Earlier, we had the preview video of the interview, with Ortiz discussing his background, and specifically being abandoned by his parents at a young age.

We'll be here to talk about the show live as it happens, so if you're going to watch tonight, join us and gab nonsense with your fellow boxing fans.

Both Ortiz and De La Hoya have been heavily featured in the news today, as Ortiz has talked big about ending Mayweather's career and discussed his financial outlook. We also had footage from Ortiz's media workout.

De La Hoya hit the news with a Univision interview where he opened up about his drug and alcohol addictions, thoughts of suicide, and infidelity. You can see the video of the interview, too.
