BOXING is BACK
This fight has given boxing a big boost for the same reason most people crane their necks to view an accident scene. Mayweather left his public wanting more, Ortiz now in the public eye has several options, Merchant has put HBO back on top. With several big fights in the next few months were headed for another resurgence. Boxings spin doctors need to ride the wave to a new posterity.
People like to see a car crash every now and then. The ratings for “WORLD’S GREATEST CAR CRASHES” aren’t as high as you’d think.
