Ward vs Froch: Andre Ward's Cut in Photos, Before and After
Courtesy Showtime and their Fight Camp 360 cameras, here's Andre Ward's cut in the gym being toweled off, pre-stitching, and then stitched up:
After the jump, notes on the rescheduled programming for the fight.
- The fight will air live at 9 p.m. EDT on December 17, giving Showtime plenty of time to get to Strikeforce after.
- Fight Camp 360 will air on November 30 at at 10 p.m. EDT.
- A bonus Fight Camp 360 (a short one) will focus on the cut. Details on that will be coming soon.
- The Faceoff rip "Staredown" will air on December 3. Jim Gray conducted the interview, so he might be able to get in more catty remarks than Max Kellerman does on HBO. Max has the google-eyed stare and look of surprise down pat, but Jim Gray's patience for the mortal is thin, and he'll accept no nonsense. Not Jim Gray. No way, buddy. Not that guy.

Bad Location
That is a bad cut in a bad location. Froch better shut his mouth and thank his lucky stars, because that cut just gave him a way to win this fight.

it’s certainly real enough, and was apparently filmed happening by the Fight Camp 360 crew. It is a bad cut in a bad spot, but Dec. 17 is probaly enough time. He’s real healthy, it should knit up pretty fast.

There is a pretty big difference between healed and ready to take large amounts of force. I agree that it’s going to be healed but I am less certain about that second point.
