Im pretty sure im the only one that thinks that Ponce will win. Yes, everything points out that Gamboa will win, he is ultra fast, hits hard, olimpyc style, etc. But I think Ponce will take advantage of Gamboa’s weak chin and commit to the body; he is not the same that fought against Juanma Lopez.

I’ve never felt that Gamboa had a weak chin. He’s corrected what IMO were balance issues that got him knocked down earlier in his career. Salido got to him some but never hurt him, and we saw what he did with JuanMa. But we’ll see — Ponce is a guy who can chin-check for sure.

I think that Gamboa is less wild than before that is why he was easier to fight. However, I think he will get carried away on exchanging instead of boxing to win easily, and that is where Ponce de Leon can take advantage. Anyways it will be an awesome fight.

BTW on this part “, that’s my job. I love boxing. I’m a student” he says “soy astuto” in spanish which means that he is clever or astute (just to clarify not trying to be annoying lol).
