Jose Roman and Javier Garcia promised a local war, and for three rounds, they delivered just that, tearing into one another until the night's second technical draw was ruled, a result of cuts from an accidental headbutt on Garcia (that's familiar) causing a stoppage before the completion of four rounds.
Roman (14-0-1, 11 KO) was the taller man and the unbeaten fighter, but was floored in the first on a left hook from Garcia (8-2-2, 7 KO), which turned the heat up from both. In the second round, Garcia went down very hard, but managed to survive the round. Roman took the upperhand in the third frame, but it went no further than that, unfortunately.
This was a hell of an action fight and even with the non-finish, it's worth seeing just to watch these two go toe-to-toe.
