Fan favorite Josesito Lopez is hoping to get back in the ring in January, following a big 2012 that saw him land a pair of Showtime main events, and the possible Upset of the Year.
"I talked to Ken Thompson, and he always told me that a fight he would love to see is you versus Tim Bradley, the two guys first signed by Thompson Boxing. How excited would you be for that fight?"
"I'd be excited to fight anyone, really, but he's a world champ. He did it from here. He started off just how I started off. He's got a good career. I'd fight anybody. I'll fight my mom for the right amount of money."
"Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans out there?"
"I appreciate all the support, everyone following me, everyone coming along for the ride. I think we're ready to go. This is just getting me to that level, and now I'll be able to showcase my skills at 140, 147 pounds."
"What's the timetable to make a decision for your next fight?"
"I think two or three weeks for now, we'll have a better idea, but we're definitely planning on getting back in there by January. So hopefully sometime in January, we're back in. In about three or four weeks, we should know a date and opponent."
