Dmitriy Salita and Luis Collazo were among the winners in Brooklyn on the undercard at the Barclays Center.
Quick undercard results from Brooklyn, all untelevised fights:
Dmitry Salita UD-6 Brandon Hoskins
Given that Hoskins (16-3-1, 8 KO) was stopped in three by Keith Thurman and one by Phil Lo Greco, this again doesn't say much for Salita (35-1-1, 18 KO). But with Barclays a new long-term boxing home, he's from the right place to eventually get a notable fight, possibly with Paulie Malignaggi. It's not fair, because he hasn't really earned it, but boxing isn't fair. The one time Salita took a real risk, Amir Khan sparked him in 1:16. The next time won't go a lot better, probably. Scores were 60-54, 59-55, 59-55.
Luis Collazo UD-8 Steve Upsher Chambers
This one was reportedly a very good fight, competitive all the way through, with Collazo (32-5, 16 KO) earning the win over Chambers (24-2-1, 6 KO). Put Salita in with Collazo if he wants to earn one -- that's a Brooklyn fight, too.
Boyd Melson D-6 Jason Thompson
Eddie Gomez def. Saul Benitez
