Ain't gonna be no fourth rematch. At least that's why Freddie Roach and Juan Manuel Marquez say ahead of Saturday's fourth fight (and third rematch) between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Roach:

"It's the last time. We're going to knock him out, end of story."

Marquez:

"This is the last fight with Manny. I don't know what will happen in the ring, but this is the last time."

Roach says that Team Pacquiao believed they'd won their third fight with Marquez last November, but booing from the live audience (and I'm guessing a healthy amount of disagreement in the media) made them take the fourth fight. Also, there's the money part, but that's not good for selling an audience on a fight. "We took this so you'd give us more money for a fight." Never a good look.

As for Marquez, I'm more inclined to believe this from his side. Not that I think Freddie or Manny want a fifth fight, but Marquez is 39 years old. How long will he want to fight Manny Pacquiao? Hell, how long is he going to fight after this, period? There is some speculation that one way or another, Saturday will be Marquez's swan song. (My guess is it won't be, since nobody ever leaves at exactly the right time -- well, almost nobody.)
