Marcos Maidana and Thomas Dulorme sparred one another to prepare for their upcoming televised bouts, and both had praise for the other side.
Maidana will be facing Devon Alexander on February 25, live on HBO from St. Louis. Dulorme (13-0, 10 KO) is in the main event of the February 17 edition of ShoBox, facing Aris Ambriz.
"I had the opportunity to spar with Dulorme and I can say he is a great fighter," said Maidana the WBA world champion at 140 pounds. "He is very fast and has all the talent to be a great world champion. He will go very far."
"Both our teams got along very well and if Maidana still gives me the opportunity to continue training with him, I will always go."

Maidana is currently a slight underdog on the sportsbooks in his matchup with Alexander, which will see both junior welterweight contenders moving up to 147 pounds.
