Weekly honors went to m0rpheas with a big tally of 56.5 points, thanks to a perfect 7 for 7 week, that included 3 doubles.
In second spot was BrianBrock (5 for 6, 2 doubles) with 51.5, followed by a tie for third between Sweet science (5 for 7, 3 doubles) and A.F. (4 for 6, 2 doubles & 1 triple) at 45.5. In fifth was nickfoxx (5 for 5, 1 triple) with 44, while TheDemolitionDan took sixth with 41 and Dave Oakes placed seventh with 39. The rest of the top ten had tetsujin at 38, Skeletor1982 34 and Matt Miller with 30.5.
As we head into the home stretch, we have a new leader atop the overall standings with Radu moving up from second place to take the top spot with 182 points.
Also moving up once place are Sweet science and TheDemolitionDan, now in second and third with 169 and 158.5 points respectively. After a rough week, last week's overall leader tencount drops a few spots into fourth at 143, while A.F. jumps all the way from fourteenth into fifth with 134.
The rest of the overall leaderboard has DPlainview at 128, BrianBrock 114.5, quincyte 114.5, moidadabum 112.5 and Nonpariel Barry Punchbag with 104.5.

last week I was 25th! Thank goodness for Dave Oakes and his comments on the Alexander fight that prompted a rethink :))

I never thought he was going to get any decision, really. I definitely figured if it was close Povetkin was going to get it. Huck surprised me though. He can’t cry about it too much, I remember the Lebedev fight…

I thought he would give Povetkin all he could handle….. But if he didn’t get the decision, it was only three points lost

You know, I have to say I am really surprised the judges favoured Povetkin in this one. I thought Sauerland would look to cache out Povetkin and throw him under the bus the way they did with with Cunningham. ( I put a triple at stake on that :) )
Huck is a much bigger draw and moneymaker for Sauerland than Povetkin but I guess this is their way of keeping both fighters relevant.
Huck proved himself and can continue a popular career at either heavyweight or cruiserweight.
Had Povetkin lost, I think he was pretty much done for and wouldn’t be generating too much money in the future for Sauerland.
I have no doubt that the judges were intentionally swayed towards Povetkin.
After my terrible start to this season, I would be happy to finish in the top ten

This season I’ve taken as a joke and have gone positive 3 weeks in a row. Albeit not by much, picking the underdogs for doubles is a far game. I think now that I’ve taken a moment and learned more about each boxer and their level, I’ll be taking a more calculated look at next season.

I earned this week more points than I earned the past 7 weeks.
Since my whole season was pretty much a disaster (especially my doubles-triples), I can now print this page and stick it over my bed or something like that
