On March 17th, this Saturday, Sergio Martinez will take on Matthew Macklin at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This fight will be on HBO for those who are watching from home. This should be a somewhat interesting fight because Macklin is a decent middleweight. He could have a decision victory over Felix Strum but he lost in a close fight by split decision. Bad left Hook scored the fight a razor thin 115-114 for Felix Sturm. With his performance in that fight, Macklin became one of the top contenders in the thin middleweight division.

These two had a press conference today and a photo op at the top of the Empire State Building. I have no idea why they are up there but I'm sure there is a terrible pun involved like ‘They are larger than life!'
