Whta fighters past and present had (have) late power?

Late power is a rarity in boxing, but muscular Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez has it, and he proved it tonight for the third time in a row. Martinez (49-2-2) launched a late attack to stop Matthew "Mack the Knife" Macklin (28-4) and retain his middleweight title. Back in March 2011, he did the same to Serhiy Dzinziruk (37-0 coming in). Dzinziruk visited the canvas five times before being stopped in the eighth stanza. Then, in October 2011, Martinez KOd game Darren Baker (23-0) in the 11th round.

These, however, were not the only fights in which Martinez has stopped opponents late. He iced Adrian Stone (33-4-2) in the 12th round in 2003 and stopped Richard Williams (18-2-1) in the ninth in 2004. Curiously, both wins came in the UK. Sergio then KO’d Albert Airapetian (18-1) in the 11th round. This one took place in Spain in 2005.
