Is it not in the rules that 10oz gloves must be worn abover?

Also im pretty sure Pacquiao Vs Margarito was at 8oz too, maybe if they used 10oz gloves Margarito would have still had two good working eyes.

I feel that with 8oz gloves Cotto's face will be made a mess in not much time. If the commissions have these rules in place why do they ignore them? inst a boxers health more important than the requests of promoters and fighters?
