Juan Manuel Marquez faces Serhiy Fedchenko tonight in Mexico City.
Juan Manuel Marquez moves up to the 140-pound division tonight to take on Serhiy Fedchenko in Mexico City for the interim WBO junior welterweight title. Bad Left Hook will have live, round-by-round coverage of the fight tonight, and here's how you can join us:
Fight time: 9:00 p.m. EDT
Location: New Arena Mexico - Mexico City, Mexico
TV channel: Top Rank PPV (US, $44.99-54.99), TV Azteca (Mexico), BoxNation (UK)
Odds: Marquez is an overwhelming favorite at -2500 and -3000, compared to Fedchenko's underdog odds of +1100, +1200, and +1400. Nobody is really giving the Ukrainian any shot to win this fight. Marquez is simply a fighter on another level -- probably at least two levels above Fedchenko.
Undercard: It will be the final fight on the US PPV and the BoxNation show, with Brandon Rios vs Richard Abril, Mike Alvarado vs Mauricio Herrera, and Mercito Gesta vs Oscar Cuero preceding the fight from Las Vegas. In Mexico City, the main undercard bout will see Saul Roman face Richard Gutierrez in a journeyman clash at middleweight.
If you missed the previews for the entire show, we got those up on Thursday night, and you still have time to get familiar with the show if you're not yet. For full coverage of Marquez vs Fedchenko, click here to see what you may have missed leading up to the fight.
