Tonight on Showtime in the US and BoxNation in the UK, Abner Mares looks to pick up a world title in a second weight class, as he faces Eric Morel for the vacant WBC super bantamweight title. Also, Panama's top bantamweight Anselmo Moreno defends his WBA bantamweight title against Mexico's David De La Mora.

Odds: Though some are claiming Morel as a legitimate threat to Mares, the sportsbooks don't agree, with Mares listed at -1600 and -1400 to Morel's +800 and +925. Moreno is almost as big a favorite in the co-feature, listed at -1100 and -1200, with De La Mora at +700 on both books.
The Showtime Extreme portion of the card will feature super middleweight veteran Librado Andrade against Florida club fighter Rowland Bryant, plus unbeaten super featherweight prospect Francisco Vargas in action against Rafael Lora.
