Brandon Rios vs Mike Alvarado on Donaire vs Nishioka undercard.

Filipino superstar Nonito Donaire (29-1, 18Ko’s) has officially announced his next opponent through his personal youtube page. While on the set of his new movie, Donaire confirmed he will face Japan’s Toshiaki Nishioka (39-4, 24Ko’s) on October 13th at the Home Depot Center, Carson, California.

It had been rumored that Donaire was set to face Mexican star Jorge Arce, but in his own words, Donaire said that his team decided to "Challenge the top guy in the division". On the undercard, a bout between undefeated Brandon Rios and Mike Alvarado will also take place.
