Last night in West Virginia, I saw Paul Spadafora back in action. He looked like the same old Spaddy. Great defense and a great chin, with the quick clean jab to set up quick effective combinations. When I first saw the card, I went almost out of devotion for an old hometown hero, however after last night I legitimately think that the now 46(19)-0-1, 37 year old has something left in the tank. What comes as an advantage is the fact that Danny Garcia does not seem to have very good boxing skills, where Spadafora does. Spadafora has a great chin and could likely last against Garcia in the exchanges, but couldn't get too cocky.

Garcia would have trouble hitting the slick Spaddy. I'm not joking and I'm being honest when I say he hasn't lost much of a step. I really would want to see this fight as it would be classic boxer vs puncher card and would be an exciting fight. Of course, this is all contingent on Spadafora not being an idiot outside of the ring which he has been known to do.... occasionally?
