Day eight of boxing at the 2012 Olympics in London wraps up this afternoon starting at 3:30 p.m. EDT, with the men's round of 16 coming to a close. Three divisions are up this afternoon: Light flyweight, light welterweight, and light heavyweight.
ALL OF THE LIGHTS!
CNBC is live again today for American viewers. Or you can watch almost-live at NBCOlympics.com.
I don't have another top five in me, so here's a top three reasons to watch:
1. (Light Flyweight) David Ayrapetyan (Russia) vs Jantony Ortiz (Puerto Rico): Ayrapetyan is a seeded fighter but young Ortiz was really good in the round of 32. We've seen seeded fighters knocked off early. I wouldn't be shocked here.
2. (Light Welterweight) Richarno Colin (Mauritius) vs Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg (Mongolia): Both fighters were a lot of fun to watch and had good wins in the opening round.
3. (Light Welterweight) Tom Stalker (Great Britain) vs Manoj Kumar (India): Stalker is the final Team GB fighter to get into the action, and a seeded competitor at light welter.
