Canelo Alvarez, Josesito Lopez, and the rest of Saturday night's Showtime fighters arrived today at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and we've got photos of the arrivals. Also, peep Canelo's beard, which is somewhere between snazzy and scuzzy, good for the ladies no matter how you slice it.
Alvarez (40-0-1, 29 KO) knows he's the heavy favorite, but isn't letting that cloud his vision.
"Josesito earned the right to be here," said Canelo. "I'm not underestimating him at all. I want to continue on this path, but I have to get through Josesito first."
Lopez (30-4, 18 KO) knows he's the underdog, but is taking it for all it's worth.
"I can't say I don't like being the underdog," he said. "It adds excitement to the fight and makes me want to pull off the upset that much more."
