Ricky Burns faces Kevin Mitchell in the biggest fight of the weekend today, with BoxNation's live coverage starting at 3:30 pm EDT from the SECC in Glasgow.
We'll have coverage of the show via BoxNation, and UK viewers can also stream the fight online at Livesport.TV, as BoxNation is available on their service.
Fight time: 3:30 p.m. EDT
Location: SECC - Glasgow, Scotland, UK
TV channel: BoxNation (UK) / Livesport.TV (UK)
Bad Left Hook will have live coverage of Burns vs Mitchell, though before the main event goes live, our focus will be on the Frampton vs Molitor card, which will be on Sky Sports in the UK and available streaming live on ESPN3 in the US. That show will start at 4 pm EDT.
Burns (34-2, 9 KO) will be defending his WBO lightweight title against Mitchell (33-1, 24 KO) in one of the best fights that can be made now in that division. Dave Oakes previewed the fight for us on Wednesday, so make sure you check that out if you have yet to do so.
This is what many would call a "typical" Frank Warren undercard, particularly for a fight in Scotland. Former WBO featherweight champ Scott Harrison (26-2-2, 15 KO) continues his comeback, which he began this year after seven years out of the ring. There's already talk of Harrison as the next opponent for Burns should both win today. He'll be facing Nicaragua's Manuel Aguilar (10-4, 5 KO).
John Simpson and Bradley Saunders are among the others in action on the bill, but none of the fights figure to be notable and/or competitive.
